From The President

WELCOME to your Web site – Delaware Valley Sun Alumni..

January, 2010

Congratulations on your recent retirement from Sunoco. I hope this new phase of your life will be a happy and fulfilling one

This is definitely a time of new beginnings – for looking ahead and savoring the possibilities the future holds. But there is much about the Sun years that is worth holding onto, especially the friendships that were forged there. A good way to continue those relationships is by joining the Delaware Valley Sun Alumni (DVSA) group if you live in the Delaware Valley. We meet three times a year for lunch, a short program, and lots of time for socializing

As president of the Alumni and on behalf of all your former colleagues, this is my personal invitation to you to attend our next luncheon at Springfield Country Club on Tuesday, May 4th The program for that luncheon has not been finalized but you’ll find the details in our newsletter which will be mailed to DVSA members in April If you can’t make it this time; I hope to see you at the following luncheons.

DVSA dues are just $15 a year which entitles you to a reduced fee for our luncheons. As a new retiree you will receive the reduced fee for the May 4th luncheon and the next issue of the Delaware Valley Sun Alumni newsletter which is published three times a year. It will contain information about the luncheon and a way for you to become a member by paying your $15 dues.

If you are not living in the area a good way of keeping up with Sunoco is to go to Sunocoinc.com and click on the link Sun Alumni. Sunoco is using this website to update retirees on such subjects as: Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ’s) on benefits, Sunoco and Industry News, Deceased and New retirees.

I hope to see you on May 4th

Cordially,

Pat Steadman
